Ana Sierra graduated in Biomedical Engineering in 2020 at Universitat Politècnica de València (Valencia, Spain). The following year, she completed a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at the same institution. After two years as a health data analyst, she decided to apply her knowledge to research. She is now a PhD student at the Neurorehabilitation and Brain Research Group of the Human-Tech Institute at Universitat Politècnica de València. Her research focuses on the analysis of clinical data related to the progression of patients in altered states of consciousness after brain damage, as well as the processing and analysis of physiological, neurophysiological, and metabolic signals of these patients.
